Ambassador Tareeq is discussing with the Turkish Foreign Minister ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations

Today, the Yemeni Ambassador to Ankara, Muhammad Saleh Tariq, discussed with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between the two countries, and unify efforts and coordination between the two countries in the economic, social and humanitarian fields.

Ambassador Tariq reviewed the developments of the situation in Yemen and the legitimate government’s response to all international calls to end the war and establish peace..emphasizing the importance of regional and international support and standing by the Yemeni legitimacy until the state is restored and the Iranian-backed Houthi coup is ended..noting that the Turkish positions towards Yemen Evidence of the depth of historical relations between the two countries.

On the one hand, the Turkish Foreign Minister affirmed his country’s support for the Presidential Leadership Council, and the efforts of the United Nations to establish peace in Yemen..pointing to the importance and role of Yemen in the regional map due to its important geographical and strategic location..expressing his condemnation of the Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia and the UAE United Arab Emirates.. stressing his country’s rejection of all terrorist acts that threaten the security of the region

Minister Oglu renewed his country’s readiness to provide support to Yemen in various fields in order to overcome the crisis and return to stability, and promised to direct those concerned in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Yemeni embassy to overcome the difficulties faced by the Yemenis in Turkey.
